What: An Informal Get-together for all “Bigs”
The Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Racine & Kenosha Counties, Inc. would like to invite all current Big Brothers and Big Sisters to an informal gathering to exchange ideas and to share experiences related to being a Big Brother or Big Sister.
Several Board members who are current or past “Bigs” would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your Big Brother or Big Sister experience and how we can help you to maximize the mentoring relationship for both for yourself and for your “little”.
All you need to bring is your thoughts and ideas to share in casual conversations. This event is open to “Bigs” of all ages. Food and age appropriate beverages will be available.
At this meeting we will also introduce the “Bigs Forum” that is being developed on the BBBS website. The forum is intended to provide a vehicle for questions and answers relating to the challenges of being a Big Brother or Big Sister. In short, you are not alone in this service to youth and have a network of Bigs who can offer support should it be needed.
